Hydro Jetting in Plano & DFW

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water — up to 4,000 PSI — to blast grease, mineral scale, and root intrusion out of your drain and sewer lines completely. Camera first, jet second.

What Hydro Jetting Does That Snaking Can’t

A drain snake breaks up a clog and pokes a hole through it. Hydro jetting cleans the entire pipe wall — removing grease, mineral scale, soap buildup, and roots that have intruded into the line. After jetting, the pipe flows at full capacity instead of just having a hole punched through the clog. For recurring drain problems, hydro jetting is usually the permanent fix where snaking is a temporary one.

Camera First

We camera the line before jetting. This shows us the type of blockage, the pipe material, and the pipe condition. We adjust the jetting pressure based on what we see — older clay pipe needs lower pressure than modern PVC. If the pipe is deteriorating, we’ll tell you before jetting makes it worse.

Where Hydro Jetting Works Best

Main sewer lines with grease accumulation. Restaurant drain lines (commercial grease traps). Lines with soft root intrusion (cutting roots out, not just through). Heavily scaled drain lines in older homes. Recurring kitchen drain clogs where snaking hasn’t held.

Hydro Jetting in Plano & DFW — Common Questions

Straight answers before you call.

Is hydro jetting safe for my pipes?

We camera the line first to assess pipe condition and material. Pressure is calibrated to what the pipe can handle. We don't jet deteriorating clay or severely cracked pipe — those need repair first. In good-condition pipes, jetting is safe and effective.

Will hydro jetting completely remove tree roots?

Hydro jetting with a root-cutting nozzle removes roots that have grown inside the pipe. It won't stop roots from re-entering through the same cracks over time — that requires pipe repair or lining to seal the entry point.

How often should sewer lines be hydro jetted?

Homes with significant grease use or trees near the sewer line often benefit from jetting every 1–2 years. After the first cleaning, camera inspection can tell us how quickly buildup returns and set an appropriate schedule.

How is hydro jetting different from using a drain snake?

A snake is a mechanical auger that cuts through or hooks a clog. Hydro jetting is high-pressure water that thoroughly flushes the line and scrubs the pipe walls. Jetting is more thorough and appropriate for heavy buildup or recurring problems.

Can hydro jetting be done on all drain sizes?

Yes. We use nozzles sized to the pipe diameter — from 2-inch sink drains to 6-inch main sewer lines. Pressure and nozzle type are matched to the job.
